Migraine

Migraine is the third most common disease in the world, and its incidence is two to three times higher in Europe and the United States than in Asia and Africa. Researchers in Denmark and the United States collected data on patients with heart disease between 1995 and 2013, of whom more than 51,000 had migraines and more than 510,000 had no symptoms. The researchers found that those with migraines had a 2.5 percent risk of heart disease, compared with 1.7 percent for those without severe headaches. Those with migraines had a 4.5 percent risk of having a common stroke, which is 20 times higher than those without migraines. In addition, six of the 11 patients with hemorrhagic strokes had migraineurs, and 11 of the 13 patients with peripheral artery disease had migraineurs. (China traditional Chinese medicine network)

Typical symptoms of migraine:

Throbbing pain, tingling (as in a prick), blurred vision, impaired vision, sensitivity to light, sound, smell, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, language problems.

Some people have migraines every few weeks. Others have them every week or even every day. They usually start in childhood, but can also occur later in life. Either way, migraines can be debilitating, making it difficult to complete daily activities and making weekend plans impossible to enjoy.

Our services

Each client's cognitive, psychological, and brain activity will be measured and analyzed to identify the specific causes of migraines, and a biofeedback training program will be designed to address those causes. There are two training regimens commonly used for migraine: electroencephalogram (eeg) feedback training and HRV training. Biofeedback training (including eeg and HRV) can significantly reduce the frequency and intensity of migraines by using the brain's adaptive capacity to regulate brain activity.
